Well, last ever might not be 100% accurate, as things can change, but as of this Saturday, I photographed the last wedding to be held at Chirk Castle.
I was honoured to capture the last 'I do's' to be held there. If you've ever visited the Castle on a day out, you will know that Chirk Castle is breathtaking, it is run by The National Trust & it is truly spectacular, the wedding ceremony was held in The Chapel, a surprisingly warm room, especially on a chilly October day.
As well as the fabulous courtyard, the gardens are amazing, with one gardener & two assistants managing & maintaining the vast grounds & gardens, including the sculpted Giant Leylandii which line the front garden path.
From the top of the hill outside the front of the Castle, you can see for miles, there is something very Wuthering Heights about the view, particularly when the moody clouds peak out from the blue sky as they did on Saturday. Can't wait to return for a visit with my own family. I Iook forward to completing my full write up when I have finished editing the photos.
