I was thrilled to be back at Soughton Hall to photograph this wonderful couple's happy day, joined by their two beautiful children, family & friends.
The venue has a beautiful, large room, for the bridal party to begin their hair & make up preparations, my bride & groom booked my platinum wedding photography package, which means that I was with the bride & her bridesmaids from around 10.30am in the morning. Being in the venue as the bride gets ready, allows me to pop out & capture some photos of the groom, groomsmen & guests in the excited run up to the ceremony. The bride then moved upstairs to get into her beautiful rum colour lined dress, which was absolutely stunning, once it was time for the father of the bride reveal, there were tears all around. The bridal party then made their way down the elegant staircase to the ceremony room.
The ceremony was beautiful & we all made our way back downstairs, the guests enjoyed a few drinks & canapes whilst we got on with some relaxed wedding group photos outside the front of the Soughton Hall, afterwards I follows the bride & groom around the grounds for a few couple portraits, keeping things fun & natural, all of my couples are always surprised at how much they enjoy this time to themselves, I always feel honoured to be able to witness their first few moments alone together as bride & groom, with time to reflect & take a well deserved deep breath together. The wedding breakfast followed in the marquee, I was lucky to be treated to a beautiful suppliers meal, which was absolutely delicious, so I can vouch for the quality of the food. The evening party began with a fabulous first dance & continued with lots of partying, at which point I made my way home & left the happy couple to dance the night away with all their guests.
