Lou & Paul's Winter Wedding at Soughton Hall, North Wales
Paul & Lou were married at the gorgeous Soughton hall, in North Wales, near Chester. Soughton hall is a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian Country House. Paul & Lou got married 23 days before Christmas 2019, with a beautiful Christmas & winter vibe to their whole day. They wanted photos from bridal preparations until after the speeches, so I tailored a wedding photography package for their requirements.
The room used for bridal preparations is stunning & makes for an excellent backdrop for photos, the room itself allows the bridal party to keep an eye on the super long driveway which leads up to the house. The ceremony room is stunning & Lou & Paul's vows were enjoyed by their family & friends along with their two fab children who helped things run smoothly. After the ceremony, We popped outside the front of the venue for some relaxed group photos, before taking a few minutes to get some all important Bride & Groom portraits, whilst the guests stayed warm inside. I love natural candid photographs, so I take these as I wander round the venue through the day, looking for moments & people of interest to capture. Once the Bride & Groom made their entrance to their wedding reception in the wonderfully decorated & spacious marquee, I photographed the speeches & left them to enjoy their wedding breakfast & the rest of the evening.
