I was finally booked to photograph a wedding at Chester Zoo this year. It is one of my favourite places to spend the day, so I have been dying to photograph a wedding at this venue.
A lovely couple from Manchester decided that they too loved this place and after booking their wedding for October 2015, they kindly booked me to capture their special day for them.
The bride got ready with her family at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel, nearby in Hoole, Chester. I photographed her preperations, before making my way to the venue to meet up with the groom whilst he nervously waited for his bride to be.
The ceremony itself took place in Oakfield House, followed by a few group photos in the grounds in front and a walk around the zoo with the happy couple, taking in their favourite animals along the way.
It was a busy Saturday so we certainly made an impact on our walk around the zoo.
It turned chilly on the way round, so the groom gallently lent his bride his hat and his jacket, providing me with the opportunity to take one of my favourite candid photos.
The details from the whole day were fab, the cake, designed by the bride and groom, was cool and unique and the chocolate fountain went down a storm with the guests.
After providing the bride and groom with their wedding photos I recieve the following very lovely message from them:
"I just want to say thankyou so much for the pictures. They're absolutely amazing, I couldn't of asked for anything more. Thanks again for creating these special memories for us".
Can't wait to get back their for the next wedding.
