Old Palace Chester, Wedding Photography in the Summertime.

Photographing at The Old Palace in Chester is fabulous, the venue & views are perfect & the location is one of the best in Chester.

I photographed the early summer wedding of Maggie & Omar, providing them with photography from an hour before the ceremony until after the speeches. I joined Maggie & her bridesmaids as they had the final touches of their make up & hair completed before moving over to The Palace Suite to get dressed. The palace suite is the most spectacular room with gorgeous high ceilings & glamour a plenty. Maggie got dressed into her beautiful, bespoke, designed wedding dress, with the help of her bridesmaids. We captured a few portraits in the room, before everyone made their way down to the ceremony.

Maggie & Omar exchanged their self written vows with love & laughter & it was a pleasure to witness. After the ceremony, we moved onto the lawn for drinks & wanting to keep things relaxed, I arranged a few group portrait shots for them, with the focus on everyone still having fun & enjoying the day. We then took some portrait shots of the bride & groom in the glorious sunshine, before making our way into the wedding breakfast for the speeches. Afterwards, Omar surprised Maggie with a beautiful bottle of champagne for her to open with her very own personalised sabre, which she did in front of all her guests with one delightful swipe.
