Oddfellows Chester, Summer Wedding Photography

I have photographed three more weddings at  Oddfellows so far this year, Laurie & James' Oddfellow's wedding was the most unusual & different & provided some real wow moments. 

 

Laurie & James booked my Gold wedding photography package, meaning I was at the venue prior to the ceremony to capture the groom & guests arrival & the wonderful venue set up & decorations, until after the first dance. The Gorgeous powder blue & sunflowers theme was beautiful & there were pages of the bride's favourite book used as bunting & framing the aisle, which added a wonderfully personal touch to the venue. 

 

It was a glorious July day, this wonderful couple & their guests enjoyed a beautiful ceremony at this beautiful Chester wedding venue, followed by a wonderful boat cruise making the most of the glorious weather & wonderful River Dee, the guests enjoyed a fabulous set by a solo singer on the lower deck. The couple's little doggie also made a special appearance for the cruise & was a delight. This couple wanted to keep things fresh & relaxed, so the speeches were enjoyed on the upper deck as the boat made its way back to the dock.

 

As we were down by the river, we were able to take some wonderful relaxed group shots, by the river Dee & we also made the most of the gorgeous backdrop provided by the Chester City Walls.  I always like to keep the couple portraits relaxed & fun & a chance to the happy couple to spend some peaceful & intimate moments together.  

 

We all made our way back to the venue to enjoy the wonderful wedding breakfast. The partying in the evening was started by all guests young & old & went with a real bang.

 

The Oddfellows wedding coordinator & their team pulled out all the stops as usual. This couple were so sweet together & I truly enjoyed the whole day, as did everyone who attended. Thanks to the beautiful couple & again to the fab team at Oddfellows, Chester.
