Christleton Church & Oddfellows, Winter Wedding Photography
I photographed the awesome wedding of Jessica & Dominic on a blustery December day at the beautiful Christleton Church, followed by a fabulous reception at Oddfellows in Chester. The wet & windy weather conditions meant that I had to ensure I kept the outside photos to a minimum and kept my happy couple in the dry as much as possible. Following the very moving ceremony at Christleton Church, we had a few portraits of the bridal party in the arch doorway of the Church. I also arranged a confetti tunnel for the bride & groom for there exit through the Church grounds, this is always a lovely moment & I would recommend every bride and groom incorporate a confetti shot into their wedding day photos.
We moved on to the stunningly quirky and cool Oddfellows in Chester for the wedding reception. As always the staff were wonderful. The happy couple decided to stay in the venue for their photos, so we made the most of the cool decor & had a relaxed bridal portrait session with just the two of them. The speeches followed a fabulous meal, which I was lucky enough to also enjoy. As a special touch the mother of the groom said a few words & this did have us all in tears. Definitely something I would love to do when my own son gets married one day.
I stayed until just after the first dance & left the newlyweds to dance the night away. Please enjoy a few photos from the day. Get in touch to enquire about your day.
